This site asks before it counts you.
A sovereignty consultancy should behave like one. Nothing measures your visit unless you agree to it, and the policy below is short because the data we collect is almost none.
What this website collects
Cookies only if you say yes
Decline, or ignore the prompt, and this site stores nothing on your device. Accept
and Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and
_ga_YG5LBH98QG, up to two years) to tell a returning visit from a new
one.
Analytics on consent
Google Analytics 4, and nothing else — no advertising tags, no pixels, no fingerprinting. Until you accept, the Google script is never requested, so not even your IP address reaches them.
Server logs
Our hosting provider processes standard technical logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) to serve the site and prevent abuse, retained briefly per the provider's policy.
Your choice, and how to change it
The prompt has two equal buttons: accept or decline. We record the answer in your
browser's local storage under ct-consent — not in a cookie, so it never
travels with a request — and that is the only thing this site itself stores. Change your
mind whenever you like:
Also in the footer of every page. If you have JavaScript switched off, nothing loads and there is nothing to change.
Revoking takes effect immediately: we clear the Google cookies, tell the tag to stop storing anything, and the script is not loaded again on your next visit. Clearing your browser storage resets the question.
What Google Analytics sees, if you allow it
Pages viewed, referrer, approximate location from a truncated IP, and coarse device and browser type — aggregated so we can tell which pages earn their place. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising features, remarketing, or data sharing with other Google products, and we never upload anything about you to Google ourselves. Google acts as our processor and is a controller for its own purposes; their handling is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Event-level data is retained for two months, the shortest window Google offers; the aggregated reports we actually read outlive it.
This means data reaches servers outside the EU/UK under Google's standard contractual clauses. If that is not a transfer you want to make, decline — the site works identically either way.
What happens when you email us
We receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and to prepare the scoping call you asked for. We do not add you to mailing lists (we have none), share your details, or use them for anything beyond the conversation you started. Ask us to delete the correspondence at any time: contact@cloudthunder.tech.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you (that is: your emails, and any analytics tied to a visit you consented to). Write to contact@cloudthunder.tech and it happens. Consent is the only basis we rely on for analytics, and withdrawing it is one click, above.
